I just had this little 40 page book made. I'm pretty happy with it, and think there will be more to come. This is the the only one right now but I'm going to make a few changes and then get a small batch made. Coming soon, a book about cats.
It's been a busy week with out of town friends and beach house chilling but I managed to sneak in a few drawings. I saw Clash of the Titans for the first time and it got me stoked up on Greek mythology. From the top: Zeus, Volume Matters, Poseidon Showing Off, Small Airplane, Man at the Door, Sleeping on a Hollow Log, Hippe Posiedon, and Bummer of Cooking.
There's been a change in the air, and I know it's the spring coming. There's something magical about the seasons changing. Even though it seems like we are so far removed from our ancient natural selves, this subtle change is still perceptible to all of us. It's kind of uncanny that we are just as tuned-in as the plum and magnolia trees.
I went to Drawing night last week as part of Leif Hedendal's dinner discussion series. It was held at Michelle Blade's awesome newish spot Site School. All around a good night with rad folks. Here are a few drawings from the evening.
